An employee holds a 9ct. gold winner's medal from the inaugural All-Ireland Gaelic football final of 1887 at the Sotheby auction house in London, 15 November 2005. The medal was won by Malachi O'Brien of Limerick Commercials, although he did not receive it until 1912.

Congrats to all who worked so hard to make a Guinness World Record happen at Glenflesk GAA Club in Co Kerry. They have a lot going on down there and, for a small club, they punch well above their weight in competitions – incl. Irish Dancing and Traditional Irish Music.

I particularly enjoyed their ‘promotional‘ video clips

In line with expectations, they duly smashed the world record and are now in the Guinness Book of Records!
